About Rita Irvin
Rita Irvin is a self-taught mixed media artist based in Cocoa Beach, Florida, working under the name Rita Irvin Fine Art. Raised in West Berlin, Germany, she spent twenty-five years in flooring sales, interior design, and showroom management before returning to painting as her primary practice.
Irvin works in surrealist mixed media on canvas and wood panel, drawing on influences including Salvador Dalí, Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keeffe, and René Magritte. Her paintings incorporate recurring motifs, among them koi, fragmented figures, and faces embedded within the composition that reveal themselves with sustained looking.
She is a member of the Brevard Cultural Alliance and has exhibited at Studios of Cocoa Beach, Starry Night Gallery, and ArtServe in Fort Lauderdale.

Rita accepts a limited number of commissions each year. If you have a space in mind and are looking for a piece created specifically for it, she would love to hear from you.
Original Works & Fine Art Prints
Rita's work is available as original paintings and as signed, numbered limited-edition fine art prints — archival pigment on premium paper, in editions of 100. Originals are carefully packaged and shipped with a certificate of authenticity. Prints are shipped flat or rolled in archival tubes, also with a certificate of authenticity.
Her work has been exhibited at Art in the Park (Brooksville, FL) and is currently on view at ArtServe in Fort Lauderdale (June–August 2026). The Studios Of Cocoa Beach, The Starry Night Gallery in Daytona and many more throughout Florida
