I built this one around Cocoa Beach: the pier, the sunset, the sailboat, the Artemis II launch going up from the coast, the sharks. None of it is arranged the way the place actually is, and it is still the truest thing I could say about living here.

About the Artist
Rita Irvin is a self-taught mixed-media artist raised in Germany. Her paintings work through memory, emotion, and transformation, built in layered textures and imagery. Influenced by Dalí, Frida Kahlo, and Georgia O'Keeffe, Rita developed her own visual language without formal training, shaped by years in interior design and a lifelong immersion in art and architecture.
